Husband. Father. Friend. Dependable. Professional. Innovator. Composer. Lifelong Learner. These are a few of the words that can be used to describe myself. I’m the husband of Pamela Hughey and the father of Morgan and Eden Hughey and a native of Camden, Arkansas. I enjoy spending time with my lovely family and fishing.
In active pursuit of furthering my education, I graduated with a Bachelor of Music Education (Instrumental) from Southern Arkansas University, followed by a Masters of Music Education (Instrumental) from Kent State University (Ohio). Over the course of my career, I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to mentor and educate youth through music across the great state of Arkansas. I have more than a decade of experience in Music Education. I’m also an active part of MENC (Music Educators National Conference) Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc., and Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Band Fraternity.
